Babington´s Leek

Allium ampeloprasum L var. babingtonii

From the name you would expect Babington´s Leek to be a leek. But it is not a leek. You could describe it as something between garlic and Beltsville bunching onion.

Leek or not - it is decorative and interesting. And not to forget: it´s edible.
